Expand Your World of Riding

  • Seize the chance to teach at The Ride Side trips and ski schools, become a TRS instructor or host, and pursue further certifications such as L2 or L3 (2 weeks each).
  • Enjoy off-shift use of TRIFECTA machines for personal enjoyment and practice.

Instructor Onboarding Program

  • Engage in our comprehensive onboarding training program, establishing a strong foundation for new instructors.
  • Dive into ski simulator progression training, enhancing your skills and technique.
  • Immerse yourself in freestyle training, unlocking your creativity and style.
  • Benefit from ongoing instructor training, continuously refining your abilities.
  • Progress to higher levels of riding and teaching techniques, taking your instruction to new heights.

Available positions

Instructor

  • Lead classes at various skill levels in both ski simulator and freestyle areas
  • Conduct daily classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants
  • Assist customers with rental equipment fitting and recommendations
  • Manage rental equipment, including maintenance and inventory control
  • Check-in guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate and perform regular checks on machines and equipment to maintain safety standards
  • Hold certification from a recognised certification body as a snowboarding or skiing instructor. (i.e. NZSIA, SBINZ, CASI, BASI and others)
  • Serious snowboarder or skiier with a strong background in the sport
  • Comfortable performing intermediate maneuvers such as varied turn shapes, carves and basic freestylee tricks
  • Technically sound, with potential for further experience and training
  • Some prior teaching experience as an instructor, delivering lessons to students
  • Full Time and Part Time basis
  • CPF contributions
  • Flexible monthly schedule, with min. 15 hours of shifts a week

  • 18 years & above
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
  • Be willing to work on weekends
  • Possess integrity, honesty, time management and superb work ethic
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Understand that everyone starts out new in their riding journey – there is no room for discrimination here!
  • Good knowledge of surf equipment such as type of boards and fins
