SURFWe are looking for a passionate team of riders to share the magic of surfing at TRIFECTA. As a surf instructor, you’ll be part of a team introducing a community of riders to the world of ocean surfing. Expand your world of riding, inspire others, and be part of a motley crew of riders that’s bringing the waves to Singapore.

Expand Your World of Riding
- Potential to become an instructor across all boardsports, allowing you to diversify your skillsets and teach across multiple disciplines.

Instructor Onboarding Program
- Instructor onboarding training program to provide a solid foundation for new instructors.
- Training in operating and teaching at the Citywave® surf pool, expanding expertise in different surfing environments.
- Ongoing instructor training to continuously improve skills and stay updated on the latest teaching techniques.
- Opportunities to progress to higher levels of riding and teaching, allowing instructors to enhance their expertise and provide more advanced instruction.
Available positions
Trainee Instructor
- Assist instructors during classes, providing support and guidance to participants
- Lead beginner-level classes, helping new riders develop fundamental skills
- Assist customers with rental equipment fitting and recommendations
- Manage rental equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and availability
- Check-in guests, offering a friendly and helpful experience
- Operate and perform regular checks on machines equipment and to maintain safety standards
- Passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge
- Proficient rider with a solid understanding of the basics in their sport
- Familiar with theoretical concepts but seeks further experience and training
- Limited to no previous teaching experience
- Full Time and Part Time basis
- CPF contributions
- Flexible monthly schedule, with min. 15 hours of shifts a week

- Fluent in English
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
- Be willing to work on weekends
- Possess integrity, honesty, time management and superb work ethic

- Good knowledge of surf equipment such as type of boards and fins

Instructor
- Lead classes at various skill levels in both ski simulator and freestyle areas
- Conduct daily classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants
- Assist customers with rental equipment fitting and recommendations
- Manage rental equipment, including maintenance and inventory control
- Check-in guests and provide excellent customer service
- Operate and perform regular checks on machines and equipment to maintain safety standards
- Hold certification from a recognised certification body as a snowboarding or skiing instructor. (i.e. NZSIA, SBINZ, CASI, BASI and others)
- Serious snowboarder or skiier with a strong background in the sport
- Comfortable performing intermediate maneuvers such as varied turn shapes, carves and basic freestylee tricks
- Technically sound, with potential for further experience and training
- Some prior teaching experience as an instructor, delivering lessons to students
- Full Time and Part Time basis
